Extension / Reversal: A McLuhan RPG

In this freeform tabletop RPG, players play not as people,  but as different media. Use the tables to generate a moment of crisis and, optionally, some facts about the situation. Then speculate and tell stories about how your media-characters react to the changing situation.  The interactions and media categories are indebted to (and can be used as an introduction to) the works of media theorists Marshall and Eric McLuhan, specifically "Laws of Media: The New Science."

Requires a standard deck of playing cards. Optional "facts" rules require a D6 and pen and paper.
